Chanukah Joy: variations on Ma'oz Tzur

Jazz Ensemble | Medium-Advanced | Item BB4026 Description This joyous jazz waltz is one of the very few big band Chanukah arrangements. It's a set of swinging variations on Ma'oz Tzur (Rock of Ages).  Almost every player gets a short written solo, and your tenor and trombone soloists will get to stretch out.  You may hear echoes of Bob Mintzer, an important mentor to arranger Rick Hirsch. 4.5 mins View Score Video Additional Info Composed by: Traditional Jewish Arranged by: Rick Hirsch Ensemble: Jazz Ensemble Format: Conductor Score & Parts Parts included: Soprano Sax 1 Alto Sax 1 — sub. for Soprano Alto Sax 2 Tenor Saxes 3 & 4 Baritone Sax 4 Trumpets (tpt. 4 is on Flugel) 4 Trombones (incl.
