Chandler SP22J Maple Bat

"City Connect" SP22J! The Chandler SP22J Maple Bat is the same model as the game model used by Juan Soto. However, this custom crafted edition features the colors of the Padres City Connect uniforms. These colorful highlights are inspired by the vibrant landscapes in the San Diego and Baja California communities. Including the scenic views of the ocean’s white foam as well as the stunning pink and yellow sunsets. The Chandler SP22J Maple Bat modeled for Juan Soto brings a flared knob, extra thin handle, and medium barrel to the plate. The medium barrel and transition to handle help balance out this overly popular model. Maple is known for being a hard, dense wood which provides very hard/solid contact. In addition, it's longevity makes it a popular choice. The Extra Processing finish Chandler uses during manufacturing is more commonly known as "XP". This innovative process cures the bat for an additional three days and gives it a smooth, glossy finish. Because of the extra processing, the XP finish results in a bat with TWICE the hardness. The XP finish is designed to fill in the grain and cavities of the wood which results in an even harder baseball bat. Why does the hardness of the baseball bat matter? The answer is simple. The harder the bat, the farther the ball will travel after impact!
