Chandler RA13 Maple Bat

Drive Through the Ball! The Chandler RA13 Maple Bat, the Atlanta Braves superstar model, offers an increased contact area due to its long barrel. This balanced bat gives hitters the confidence to drive through the ball in the hitting zone. This model is a great option for players transitioning from metal composite bats to wood bats. The RA13 mimics a metal bat's thick handle and long barrel and is a great addition to any dugout. This Chandler RA13 Maple Bat also features a Gloss Black XP finish on the handle and an Imperial XP finish on the barrel. Additionally, this beautiful bat sports a Black Chandler Logo. Maple is known for being a hard, dense wood which provides very hard/solid contact. In addition, it's longevity makes it a popular choice. The Extra Processing finish Chandler uses during manufacturing is more commonly known as "XP". This innovative process cures the bat for an additional three days and gives it a smooth, glossy finish. Because of the extra processing, the XP finish results in a bat with TWICE the hardness. The XP finish fills in the grain and cavities of the wood, which results in an even harder baseball bat. Why does the hardness of the baseball bat matter? The answer is simple. The harder the bat, the farther the ball will travel after impact!
