Chandler O44O Maple Bat

Nothing But the Best! The Chandler O44O Maple Bat features a flared knob with a long, large sized barrel with a slightly end-loaded feel for ultimate contact and a maximum sweet spot. It’s nothing less than the best for the ARTIST – the red hot All Star and Silver Slugger Nick Castellanos! This Chandler O44O Maple Bat also features a Gloss Cherry XP finish on the handle and a Palladium XP finish on the barrel. Additionally, this beautiful bat sports a Carbon Fiber Chandler Logo. Maple is known for being a hard, dense wood which provides very hard/solid contact. In addition, it's longevity makes it a popular choice. The Extra Processing finish Chandler uses during manufacturing is more commonly known as "XP". This innovative process cures the bat for an additional three days and gives it a smooth, glossy finish. Because of the extra processing, the XP finish results in a bat with TWICE the hardness. The XP finish fills in the grain and cavities of the wood, which results in an even harder baseball bat. Why does the hardness of the baseball bat matter? The answer is simple. The harder the bat, the farther the ball will travel after impact!
