Chamonix Cabinet

Our little French villa, which we called home for almost a week while traipsing through the countryside, was older, smallish, and utterly charming. It took a while for me to get used to what items were stashed where, but one element I appreciated multiple times each day--was a tall but slim cabinet with glass doors festooned with tracery on top (so I could see everything inside) and wood doors on the bottom (so clutter was hidden). Our Chamonix Cabinet is similar, with four adjustable shelves on the top half and another behind the closed cabinet doors below. Its finish is two-tone, with the reclaimed pine shining through a clear coat on the glass doors and a warm whitewash everywhere else. A cremone bolt is a finishing touch. It coordinates with our Chamonix Hutch. Imported.
