The Chamberlain™ by Merritt Manufacturing is a vehicle positioning device designed for children and adults with special health care needs. It keeps the occupant securely positioned while using the vehicle seat belt, with a vest guide ensuring the belt stays on the shoulder and away from the neck. Unlike traditional car seats, no base is required, allowing the occupant to sit directly on the vehicle seat for easier transfers. The harness and vest remain in the vehicle, ensuring consistent setup each time. Available in three vest sizes, with special sizes available upon request, the Chamberlain accommodates users weighing 81 to 225 lbs. and at least 48 inches tall, ensuring the top of the ears does not exceed the vehicle’s seat back or headrest.
