Challah Plate, Ceramic with Matte Glaze

This ceramic challah plate not only fits two loaves of challah perfectly, but its round nature complements the circular Rosh Hashanah challah beautifully. An imprint of the motzi, or Hebrew prayer for bread, serves as a reminder to give thanks. Small braided handles complete the piece, echoing the braiding of the challah. This dish makes an excellent gift for weddings and conversions. It was crafted by a husband and wife team who have been creating Jewish pottery for over thirty years.
