Clover "Chaco Liner Pen Style" has a slightly hard-to-understand name, but once you open the package it's refreshingly simple and easy to use. This is a small pen-shaped tool filled with powdered tailor's chalk, which is dispensed through small holes at the tapered tip. To use the Chaco Liner Pen Style, you drag the tapered tip along the surface, activating the small rotating pounce wheel inside the tip, thereby gradually bringing chalk to the tip with the motion of your hand. The effect is a neat, controlled chalk line that can follow rulers or patterns with ease. Made in Japan. Clover — Since 1925 For 100 years, the people at Clover in Osaka, Japan have offered excellent needles, notions, and tools for working with fabric and thread. Starting with sewing needles in the early 20th century, Clover developed its product line with bigger factories and bigger ideas, expanding into knitting, crochet, and many other art & craft disciplines. Today, Clover is a household name (if you're a crafty household) in many countries around the world, and their products are still almost exclusively made in Japan. Here's to another 100 years of making nice things with Clover!
