Chair Six Blend

Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters' Chair Six Blend is a testament to thoughtful coffee crafting—a medium roast that balances approachability with genuine complexity. Drawing from select Latin American origins, this blend was developed through careful curation, tasting numerous combinations until brothers Rick and Randy Evans landed on what they consider the perfect equilibrium. It's the kind of coffee that works morning to evening, solo or shared, black or brightened with cream. Named after Chair 6 at Idaho's Schweitzer Mountain Resort—where the Evans brothers spent their first winter mapping out their roasting dream during long chairlift rides—this blend carries a spirit of ambition and mountain clarity. What emerged is a coffee that honors traditional American roasting while showcasing the nuanced character of carefully sourced Latin American beans. Tasting NotesChair Six delivers a smooth, balanced cup with gentle sweetness and mild acidity. Expect notes of milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and a hint of caramel that lingers through a clean finish. The body is medium and approachable—substantial enough to stand up to cream, refined enough to enjoy on its own. There's no sharp edges here, just a well-rounded profile that appeals to both coffee newcomers and veterans seeking a reliable daily drinker. Brew MethodsThis blend's versatility shines across brewing methods. It excels in drip coffee makers and pour-over setups, where its balanced profile comes through with clarity. French press brings out the chocolate notes and adds body. It also pulls a surprisingly pleasant espresso—smooth enough for straight shots, forgiving enough for milk drinks. The medium roast level means you have flexibility with grind size and won't easily over-extract into bitterness.
