This is the RedMax dealer part number 592805201, listed in the Husqvarna Group parts system as Rmax Apron Chap. ⚠ CERTIFICATION - CHECK THE LABEL SEWN INTO THE GARMENT We could not confirm a published certification label for this specific RedMax part number from a RedMax or Husqvarna Group spec sheet, so this listing does not claim ASTM F1897, ANSI Z133.1, UL or OSHA compliance for it. Chainsaw leg protection sold in the United States normally carries an ASTM F1897 label. If a specific certification is a requirement for your job site or your employer, read the label sewn into the chaps when they arrive and return them if the label does not meet your requirement. We would rather tell you what we do not know than print a certification we have not verified.Specifications Part #: 592805201 Husqvarna Group Part Description: Rmax Apron Chap Brand: RedMax (Husqvarna) Type: Chainsaw protective chaps, apron style Coverage: Front and outer leg apron Size: The RedMax part description for 592805201 carries no size code. They are quicker on and off than wrap chaps or protective pants, which is why crews that are in and out of the saw all day tend to prefer them. Wears over your own clothing No need to change trousers on site. Buckle them over work pants and go. Genuine RedMax part Ordered under the RedMax dealer part number rather than a generic import, so the garment matches what a RedMax dealer would hand you across the counter. Care and WashingThe protective pad inside chainsaw chaps is the whole point of the garment, and the wrong wash cycle ruins it. Follow the label sewn into the chaps, and use this general guidance for chainsaw leg protection. Wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Never use chlorine bleach. Hang to dry. Do not tumble dry and do not dry near a heat source. Do not dry clean. Do not iron the protective apron. Wash promptly if the chaps are soaked with fuel or bar oil, since a fuel soaked garment is a fire hazard. Inspect before every use. Retire the chaps if the outer shell is cut through, if protective fibre is pulled out, or after any contact with a moving chain. Never stitch through or patch the protective apron. CompatibilityThis is personal protective equipment. It is sized to the person wearing it, not to a machine, so there is no saw model or engine model fitment list and we do not publish one. Measure the wearer and match the size chart above before ordering. Protective leg wear should be worn with the rest of the standard chainsaw kit: helmet with face screen, hearing protection, gloves and cut resistant boots. Why Buy OEM?Protective clothing is one of the worst places to gamble on an unbranded substitute. A genuine RedMax garment is built to a specification the manufacturer stands behind, with hardware and stitching that survive repeated laundering, and it is the item a RedMax dealer supplies against this part number. Cheap copies routinely under fill the protective pad and use buckles that fail in the first season.
