Masala Chai Tea – Black Tea with Cinnamon, Cardamom & Ginger | 0.5 LB Loose Leaf

Long before chai lattes had a menu board, there was this: black tea and whole spices simmered slowly in a pot, filling the kitchen with warmth before the first cup was ever poured. Our Masala Chai is that original. A robust, full-bodied black tea blended with the classic spices of the trade routes — sweet cinnamon, warming ginger, fragrant cardamom, and a backbone of clove, allspice, and black pepper that gives every sip a gentle, lingering heat. Brewed strong and mellowed with milk and a little sugar or honey, it becomes rich, creamy, and deeply comforting — the kind of cup you slow down for. Prefer it straight? It's bold and spicy on its own, no milk required. This is real loose-leaf chai with visible pieces of spice — cardamom pods, ginger, cinnamon bark — not a dusty powder or a syrup. You'll taste the difference in the first pot. Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon, ginger root, cardamom, allspice, cloves, black pepper. Highlights: Full-bodied black tea blended with seven warming spices Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice, cloves & black pepper Whole-cut spices you can see — not powder, not syrup Simmer with milk for a rich, authentic chai latte at home Bold enough to drink straight, smooth enough for every day Contains caffeine (black tea) — a perfect coffee alternative 0.5 LB loose leaf — brews pot after pot How to brew: Quick cup: Steep 1–2 teaspoons in 8 oz of boiling water for 4–5 minutes. Strain, then add warm milk and sweetener to taste. Traditional stovetop chai (the good way): Simmer 2 tablespoons of chai in 2 cups of boiled water for 5–10 minutes. Add 1–2 cups of milk and your sweetener, bring back to a gentle simmer, strain, and serve. The longer simmer pulls the deep flavor out of the whole spices.
