Cerebral Saunter

12" X 16" poster print. Printed on 100 lb. cover stock with 1/4" white border. Every year I do a few autumn themed pieces as it's such a powerful season for me. I always get hit with a wave of nostalgia when the leaves start turning and the air carries that crisp scent. It's usually a bit sad, but in a beautiful way. This painting is actually a long maned wolf head on a jackal's body. I wanted to capture that dark and whimsical fall feeling. The idea that things are starting to die, but finding the beauty in the cycle of the seasons as well.
