Ceramic Soap Tray

The Ferm Living Ceramic Soap Tray is one of those simple upgrades that makes way more difference than you'd expect for something so basic. Instead of having soap bars sitting directly on your sink counter getting all soggy and gross, this thing actually keeps them elevated and lets them dry properly between uses. The ceramic construction means it's easy to clean when soap residue builds up, and the simple shape works with pretty much any bathroom aesthetic without looking like obvious "bathroom accessories." It's sized just right for standard soap bars without taking up half your counter space, which matters more than you'd think in smaller bathrooms. What's nice about this piece is how it manages to look intentional rather than purely functional - like you actually thought about the soap situation instead of just grabbing whatever was cheapest at the store. The ceramic material doesn't get that weird film buildup that plastic alternatives develop over time, and it's substantial enough that it doesn't slide around when you're putting soap back. The drainage design actually works, so you're not dealing with that annoying soap-scum puddle that forms under most soap dishes. It's one of those small details that makes your daily routine feel slightly more civilized without requiring any real effort on your part. Ferm Living approaches bathroom accessories from Copenhagen with that Danish philosophy where even the most mundane household items should earn their place through both function and appearance. They understand that good design doesn't have to be complicated - sometimes it's just about making everyday objects work better while looking like they belong in your home rather than a public restroom.
