Ceramic Plate | White

The CERAMIC LAB Plate embodies the harmony of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary design. Developed in collaboration with skilled artisans from Japan's historic pottery villages, the collection celebrates the natural beauty of clay through thoughtful forms and richly textured surfaces. Each piece reflects generations of knowledge, from the careful balance of clay and glaze to the subtle transformations that occur during firing, resulting in tableware that feels both timeless and distinctly modern. Characterized by its warm, organic texture and understated silhouette, this porcelain plate brings a sense of comfort and refinement to everyday dining. Variations in glaze, color, and surface appearance—including the distinctive yo-hen effect, a naturally occurring transformation during firing—ensure that each piece possesses its own unique character. Details Material: Porcelain Dimensions: 7.9" × H 0.7" Shape: Round plate Finish: Handcrafted glazed finish with natural variations Features Crafted in collaboration with traditional Japanese pottery artisans Warm, tactile texture inspired by the natural qualities of clay Unique glaze variations and yo-hen firing effects make each piece one of a kind Designed for both everyday use and elevated table settings Microwave and dishwasher safe Care Instructions Microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without contents. Wash with care and avoid abrasive cleansers, steel wool, or harsh scrubbing tools that may damage the surface. Due to the handcrafted production process, slight variations in size, shape, glaze, and color are natural and should be celebrated as part of each piece's individuality. Some items may display the distinctive yo-hen effect, an organic color transformation that occurs during firing and contributes to the uniqueness of the ceramic. Gray marks may appear over time from contact with metal utensils. These marks, known as metal marks, result from friction between porcelain and metal and can typically be removed by gently rubbing the surface with a soft cleanser and a damp cloth or sponge.
