Ceraform Posterior Teeth

Ceraform Posterior Teeth by CGI Porcelain are high-fusing porcelain denture teeth designed to restore function, occlusal stability, and aesthetics for complete or partial removable prosthetics. They are engineered to withstand masticatory forces while providing a natural look that matches surrounding dentition. Key Technical Specifications & Features Material Composition: Premium high-fusing porcelain, delivering superior wear resistance and color stability over extended use. Occlusal Options: Typically offered in semi-anatomical (e.g., 20° to 33° cusp angles) to anatomical designs for optimal load distribution and chewing efficiency. Shade Selection: Available in standard VITA-equivalent shade guides for seamless integration with anterior porcelain teeth. Retention Mechanism: Features mechanical retention (pins or undercut cavities) to ensure strong mechanical bonding with the acrylic denture base resin. Primary Advantages High Wear Resistance: Resists abrasive wear significantly better than conventional acrylic (PMMA) or composite teeth, preserving the patient's vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) over time. Stain & Chemical Resistance: Highly dense structure prevents absorption of fluids, preventing discoloration, odor accumulation, or chemical degradation. Aesthetic Fidelity: Natural translucency, tooth morphology, and surface texture closely mimic biological enamel under varied lighting conditions. Clinical Considerations Opposing Dentition: Ideal when opposing other porcelain teeth or natural enamel. Caution is advised when opposing soft gold or resin restorations to avoid wearing down the softer opposing material. Processing Requirements: Requires mechanical retention in the acrylic matrix; careful wax elimination and acrylic packing procedures are essential to prevent debonding.
