Celtic Knot Pewter Belt Buckle

Our Celtic Knot Pewter Belt Buckle has a solid, grounded feel to it. Made from pewter, they have a weight that feels reassuring and long lasting, and a finish that sits somewhere between matte and lightly polished. What really defines them is the design. The hound version has a sense of movement to it, with the figures twisting into each other to form a continuous knot. It’s detailed, like a pattern you can follow the longer you look at it. The lion version is a bit bolder. The two figures face inward, almost guarding the central knot, which gives it a more structured and balanced look. Both designs draw from traditional Celtic symbolism. The knots, with their endless loops, are often linked to continuity or something unbroken. The animals add another layer, hounds are often associated with loyalty and companionship, while lions bring in ideas of strength and protection. The oval shape keeps things practical. It fits standard 1.5-inch snap-on belts, so you can swap it in without needing anything specific. That flexibility makes it easy to use day to day rather than saving it for certain outfits.
