Celtic Double Shamrock Box

What does Birth, Life and Death have in common with Earth, Sea and Sky? Both delineations are trios, a concept so idealized and revered by the ancient Celts that that used the trefoil symbol - a three pointed knot - on everything from weapons, clothing, art (like the illuminated manuscript The Book of Kells) and headstones.   This unique double box doubles down on the three points theme, with two triangular compartments that form a parallelogram. Of course, another symbol loved by the Celts, the shamrock, adorns the two front sides. Each compartment of this trinket box is lined on the bottom with velvet that’s colored, you guessed it, green.     Overall: 6-1/8” wide x 3-1/2” deep x 1-3/4” tall
