Celestron 7 X 50mm Cometron Binocular

Day or night, the very economical Celestron Cometron 7x50mm binocular can show you the wonders of the skies above . . . and nature's wonders here on earth. Want bright and detailed binocular images day or night, without breaking the bank? Check out the Celestron Cometron 7x50mm porro prism. Want to see a comet, a distant nebula, a galaxy, or star cluster - without spending a fortune? Then the Celestron Cometron 7x50mm is the binocular for you. Want to watch distant sailboats across the bay, eagles nesting along a riverbank, or a deer at the far side of a meadow at dusk? The powerful Cometron 7x50mm binocular brings all those distant sights close, to reveal details otherwise invisible to your unaided eye.  The Celestron Cometron 7x50mm binocular is great for astronomy, nature studies, sporting events, family vacations - anywhere and any time you want to get closer to the world around you without spending a fortune. At night, the 50mm objective lenses of this Celestron Cometron binocular gather 51 times as much light as your eyes to reveal objects and details too faint to be seen normally. Day or night, its 7x magnification brings distant sights seven times closer to you, letting you see much more detail than you can with your unaided eye.   This center focus Z-body porro prism Celestron uses BK7 prisms for good light transmission. Its multi-coated optics showcase comets, the craters of the Moon, dim deep space objects, and nature day and night in high contrast detail.  The Cometron 7x50mm has a wide 6.8° field of view so you can scan broad stretches of the sky and landscape to quickly pinpoint exactly the object you want to see, then keep it in your sights without the need for constant movement and readjustment.  Here on Earth, the 7x50mm Cometron lets you observe distant nature close-up and personal. With a close focus of 26.2', this is not a binocular for observing very nearby nature. However, its bright 7.14mm exit pupil makes it a good and very economical choice for any twilight birding or nature study activity where very close focus is not required - but bright images are essential. Roll-down eyecups shield your unaided eye from stray light when rolled up and cushion eyeglass lenses when rolled down. Eye relief is specified at 13mm, so there will be some vignetting of the field for those who must wear eyeglasses while observing. A continuously variable diopter ring on the right eyepiece allows you to match the Cometron optics precisely to your individual eyesight for a sharp image.    The Celestron Cometron 7x50's rubber armored aluminum housing is durable and lightweight. The Cometron is tripod adaptable (using an optional tripod adapter) for extended comfort during long stargazing sessions. The Cometron 7x50mm comes with a wide padded neck strap, eyepiece and objective lens caps, and a soft carrying case for security, portability, and grab-and-go convenience. To top it all off, the Celestron Cometron 7x50mm has a limited lifetime warranty, a remarkable bonus at the very reasonable price.
