Heart of the Tree Journal

The cover of this dreamlike journal depicts a world tree afloat in a star-filled universe, with fairy folk and unicorns at its base. A heart-shaped portal within the tree's trunk opens into another world. The image is a reproduction of a painting by renowned fantasy artist Josephine Wall. Inside, lightly-lined pages provide plenty of space for personal reflection, sketching, or jotting down quotations or poems. Acid-free archival-quality 120 gsm paper takes pen and pencil beautifully. Silver foil detailing illuminates the tree's wisteria-like foliage and the Aurora Borealis beneath. Raised embossing adds dimensional detail. A ribbon marker keeps your place. Gilded-silver page edging adds extra shine. Complementary interior endsheets feature a starry pattern on a midnight-blue background. Larger size: 7-1/4'' wide by 9'' high. 192 pages. Josephine Wall paints in a cottage studio in Dorset, England. Her passion for nature and myth resonates in intricately detailed artwork that interweaves romantic elements with the surreal.
