Peppermint stick celery should be started indoors 10 to 12 weeks before your last frost and planted outside when temperatures reliably will not dip below 40 degrees. It can also be started in summer for transplant out 10-12 weeks before first frost. Celery requires full sun and very rich soil. It is water-loving and will tolerate soil that stays a little soggy.
