Apply Celavive Resurfacing Serum twice daily to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone. This advanced serum helps to visibly refine your overall complexion with ingredients that will make visible discoloration virtually disappear. Mandelic acid, Niacinamide, Glycolic acid, peptides, and much more come together to fade the appearance of dark spots and brighten the skin. They work by dispersing the appearance of discoloration on the surface of your skin, making it invisible to the eye. As the pigment is diffused, your skin tone will look bright, even, and flawless. In only a couple of months, you’ll no longer need to apply heavy concealers or foundation to create a uniform skin tone. But Resurfacing Serum doesn’t just work to make skin look brighter and more even. It helps keep it that way, too. Noteworthy Ingredients: Niacinamide 2% There are many ingredients that can lighten the skin’s appearance. Some of the most common are hydroquinone, retinoids, and azelaic acid. However, these may cause skin sensitivity and irritation. There is a gentler option that’s been well-studied and found to be effective for refining the skin’s appearance. It’s a form of vitamin B3 called niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide). Niacinamide is a key ingredient of Celavive Resurfacing Serum. Topical application of this vitamin soothes and moisturizes as it helps visibly balance skin tone and boost radiance. Clinical trials have shown it can reduce the appearance of discoloration, when used twice a day. One study included 18 subjects with hyperpigmentation who used a five percent niacinamide moisturizer and plain moisturizer in a paired design. There was noticeably less visible pigmentation and increased luminosity in the niacinamide group after four weeks. A second study of 50 women, ages 40 to 60, found that a five percent niacinamide cream provided significant improvements in the appearance of hyperpigmentation, skin tone, and texture after 12 weeks. Skin brighteners tend to work best when used in combination. In addition to niacinamide, Celavive Resurfacing Serum contains unique ingredients that will help further reduce the appearance of discoloration and beautifully balance your complexion. Mandelic Acid Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) are often used in skincare to smooth visible fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone appearance. Mandelic acid is a type of AHA originally derived from almonds. Its molecular structure is larger than other AHA’s, which slows down its penetration into the skin compared to other AHA’s. This slower penetration significantly lowers its irritation potential to the skin, making this a very gentle ingredient suitable for sensitive skin. In this formula, Mandelic Acid helps conceal the appearance of acne, blemishes, dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-40 Telangyn is an innovative peptide complex designed to reduce visible redness in the skin. Peptides are used in skincare, especially for sensitive skin. They also have high potency and efficacy even at a low dosage. This peptide complex also targets telangiectasia, which refers to the small blood vessels or spider veins that can appear on the skin. Telangiectasia is harmless but may not be very appealing to have on your face. Telangyn peptide complex helps conceal hyperpigmentation, the appearance of redness and dilated blood vessels, and improves skin tone. Nonapeptide-1 Nonapeptide-1 is a peptide designed to reduce dark spots, even out skin tone, and conceal the appearance of skin spots related to the hyperproduction of melanin. It doesn’t interfere with the natural function of your melanocytes and therefore doesn’t cause any damage to your cellular function, making it an ideal ingredient to support the appearance of the skin.Glycolic & Lactic Acids Glycolic and Lactic acids are are a potent exfoliant for the skin. They help to remove dead skin cells and reveal smoother, brighter skin. They are designed to help diffuse AHA’s onto the surface of the skin in a controlled and balanced way. Thes ingredients boost exfoliation without irritating the skin. Bakuchiol 1% Retinol and retinoids have been used to counter the visible effects of premature aging from UV radiation (sunlight). The problem with retinol is that it can sometimes be poorly tolerated by the skin and cause irritation. Bakuchiol oil is an alternative that doesn’t have any of the negatives associated with Retinol. Bakuchiol is a phytochemical compound derived from Psoralea corylifolia, a plant historically used in Indian and Chinese traditional medicine. Research has shown that Bakuchiol may help conceal hyperpigmentation and wrinkles as efficiently as retinol without side effects. In this formula, Bakuchiol helps calm visible redness. The antioxidants in the extract help support the look of firmer skin, with fewer lines and wrinkles. And they keep existing discoloration from looking darker after sun exposure. Overall, Bakuchiol oil aids in overall skin health and radiance. White Willow Bark 5% Salicin, a natural source of salicylic acid, is extracted from white willow bark and has been researched for its wide-spectrum benefits for the skin. In one clinical study, salicin was found to improve the appearance of wrinkles, roughness, pore size, radiance, and overall appearance in as little as one week.
