Cedarwood Double Bath Vanity Light - Rustic Plain

Spanning 24 inches across double vanities, the Cedarwood Double Bath Vanity Light combines a rustic, weathered metal finish with frosted glass shades to provide balanced, diffused lighting for bathrooms. With a 20-inch by 5-inch backplate and arms that extend 12 inches from the wall, this fixture is engineered to fit standard sink layouts without protruding excessively into the room. Standing 9 inches tall, it sits at a comfortable height above mirrors and countertops. Weighing 12 pounds, the fixture offers a solid, substantial presence that complements heavier cabinetry often found in rustic, farmhouse, or country-style bathrooms. Crucially, it is UL listed for both damp and dry locations. This rating is essential for bathroom fixtures, ensuring the light is safe to install in environments where humidity and moisture are constant factors, reducing the risk of electrical issues near sinks and mirrors. Lamping and Compatibility This vanity light requires two standard Type A19 bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 100 watts each. The use of standard household-style sockets is a significant advantage; it means you can purchase replacement bulbs at any local hardware store or grocery outlet. Furthermore, the fixture accepts screw-in LED bulbs of equivalent wattage output, allowing you to modernize your lighting and reduce energy consumption without needing specialized retrofit bulbs. Whether you are renovating a master bath or updating a guest powder room, the Cedarwood light offers a durable, code-compliant solution. Its plain, neutral design—lacking ornate patterns on the hardware or glass—ensures it does not clash with colorful towels or accessories, making it a versatile and functional anchor for your bathroom's lighting scheme.
