Cedar Ward - Rejuvenating Spray - Premium Cedar Oil - Restore The Natural Preventative Properties of Cedarwood (4 oz)

Cedar Ward Spray uses the natural potency of Virginian cedarwood oil to repel clothing moths, pantry moths—specifically the rice moth species, cockroaches, silverfish and other pests from your protected areas. Extracted from Juniperus Virginiana L., a member of the Cupressaceae family, the cedarwood oil releases a blend of terpenes—volatile organic compounds such as thujopsene, cedrol, and alpha cedrene—that vaporize into the air and create a formidable barrier for pests. When these terpenes disperse, they disrupt the pheromone signals used by female moths to attract males, effectively interfering with their ability to mate. Additionally, the cedar vapors irritate and disorient pests, reducing their chances of establishing colonies or laying eggs in sensitive areas like closets, attics and storage chests. While adult moths do not feed on fabrics, their larvae are destructive, feeding on keratin-rich fibers like wool, cashmere and silk. The continuous release of cedarwood vapors from Cedar Ward helps protect these items by keeping adults at bay, thereby preventing new generations of fabric-eating larvae. Cedar Ward Spray enhances cedar’s natural properties by reinvigorating cedarwood products with concentrated oil, ideal for those looking to extend the repellency and pest-deterring qualities of their Cedar Planks, Cedar Chip Canisters and closet linings.
