The CDC Comparadun in Baetis (BWO) pattern is a versatile dry fly designed to match small mayfly hatches. Its CDC wing provides excellent flotation and a natural silhouette that appeals to selective trout. The comparadun style keeps the fly low in the film, mimicking emerging or dun-stage insects. Ideal for spring and fall when BWO hatches are most active, this pattern works across a range of water types—from technical spring creeks to larger rivers. Tie it in sizes 18-22 for precise matching during prolific hatches.
