CCM Tacks Intermediate Goalie Catch Glove – Special Edition

CCM Tacks Intermediate Goalie Catch Glove – Special Edition Special Edition 580 Break: The Goalies Plus special edition colors will all have the single t – 580 break.  The one exception is the All-White color; this will have the double t – 590 break. The Tacks is a new goalie name for CCM, and this is a completely new and redesigned glove for 2026. Each year CCM continues to improve their glove quality which has been an issue in the past.  The last two models (F9 and 7.9) have been significantly better than the older models, but the new CCM Tacks takes another step forward. Some new features of the Tacks catch glove is the VOTRX pocket and tee.  This is designed to keep the pocket and tee stiff while allowing for maximum coverage size when presenting to a shooter.  The design of this is to completely seal the glove to the ice when a goalie is covering a puck.  The catching t is also deeper on the new Tacks glove with an extra inch of depth added to the catching pocket. The CCM Tacks Catch Glove will continue to use the Flexmotion design on the backhand of the glove.  This effectively allows the glove to open and close properly.  This also has a greater range of adjustability compared to past CCM gloves.  The internal strapping on the back of the hand has also been redesigned to allow for more adjustability and comfort.  This is the Cross Form Strap System. The cuff and thumb of the new CCM Tacks catch glove will have a LITECORE core.  This has been a popular feature of the past generation CCM catch glove, so it was brought back for the Tacks glove. This is an injected molded material that keeps its shape even after extreme pounding from shots to the cuff.  It is important to know that non injection molded cuffs will flatten out over time from the abuse a glove takes. The palm of the Tacks catch glove will utilize a layered foam protection in the palm area to help eliminate stingers. In the finger area, the Tacks glove will have individual finger stalls.  A mesh material was used for comfort but also a quicker drying time.  The inner palm will continue to use the Sure Grip material that has been very popular for many years.  This material allows the palms and fingers to grip the palm with little to no slippage, adding more overall control for the goalie. At 2.0 pounds, the CCM Tacks is a lightweight glove that is both protective and shaped in a manner that helps take up maximum net coverage.
