This year’s CCM JetSpeed line of protective equipment does just that, especially in the top-of-the-line models, with the help of many great technologies and innovations.   This elbow pad is constructed with a 3-piece flexmotion design that follows the arm’s natural movement to offer superior comfort and pro-level protection. This is complemented by AER-TEC thermoregulation system that will help keep you cool and dry.   The elbow cap is made from molded PE with JDP construction and an exposed EVA foam cover, which helps disperse the force of impact away from the elbow.  In the forearm there is compress molded foam with ventilation ports for high-level lightweight protection. These technologies combine to shield you from pucks and sticks without sacrificing mobility.   The bicep padding consists of high-density foam for elite caliber protection. Inside the elbow pad is a compress-molded EVA dryfoam liner that will keep you dry and comfortable throughout the game for optimal comfort.    For the attachment system, the FT8 Pro includes a bicep strap, forearm strap and a dual middle elastic lock strap. This strap system, with anti-slippage construction, is designed to secure the elbow pad in place so you stay locked in.    While there are other pieces of protective equipment that get more attention, elbow pads are very important and vital to prevention of injury. CCM offers excellent protection and mobility in the JetSpeed FT8 Pro elbow pad; built for players who are looking for a high-performing option that offers top-end technology and features.
