Twilight Moon

Twilight is a time of pause, when Nature changes her guard. The moon, sensitive and quite, hovers in a soft sky above the weathered spine of the Rocky Mountains. Carole Cooke’s muted near-tonalist palette seems to whisper either the coming or going of the day. Moody and atmospheric, this Fine Art Canvas speaks of beauty and refinement wherever it hangs. “When you are out and looking for that scene you are going to paint, it’s like you are on a scavenger hunt,” Cooke confides. “You get all set up to paint something wonderful you’ve found and happen to take a look the other way and realize the extraordinary thing you are after is right behind you! If you see something and it takes your breath away, that is what you should be painting.” Twilight Moon captures a transitional moment of Nature’s never ending colors and moods and is one of Carole Cooke’s finest works. This Greenwich Workshop Fine Art Canvas is perfect for the room where a delicate melody is all that is needed to make it complete.
