Yontengu by Christopher Baldwin & Don Ahé

Yontengu tells the story of a colony of humans settling on a distant planet, battling for resources against a competing alien race. The struggle culminates with the waking of the Yontengus, tools of war created by the ancient extinct natives. Only one young woman, Julie, and her best friend, Koen, have a chance to prevent the fighting from destroying them all -- but at what price? Yontengu brings together the writing talents of Christopher Baldwin (Spacetrawler, Little Dee, Bruno) combined with the classic artwork of Don Ahé (Road Apples Almanac). 150 pages of action, humor, and the big questions.
