Z-Man ChatterBait JackHammer

The ChatterBait® JackHammer™, crafted through a collaboration between professional anglers Brett Hite, Morizo Shimizo, and the Japanese lure manufacturer EverGreen International, stands as one of the most sophisticated and eagerly awaited fishing lures to enter the U.S. market. This lure features a flat-bottom design with a low center of gravity, coupled with a thin yet robust stainless steel blade. These characteristics enable the JackHammer™ to vibrate rapidly and mimic the erratic movement of a distressed baitfish. The unique combination of its head and blade not only allows for effortless deflection off various structures but also makes it exceptionally adept at skipping under docks and trees, setting a new standard for bladed jigs. Furthermore, the lure's design includes a specialized groove on the bottom of the head, positioning the blade to consistently strike it. This design generates the distinctive "chattering" noise and also secures the blade to the head, enhancing the lure's longevity. For increased effectiveness and durability, the ChatterBait® JackHammer™ is equipped with a Gamakatsu heavy wire flipping hook, optimized in length, gap, and sharpness to maximize the hook-up rate. The inclusion of a double wire trailer keeper ensures a firm hold on all kinds of soft plastic trailers. The lure is adorned with premium, hand-tied silicone rubber skirts in various detailed patterns, matched with meticulously painted heads and blades, elevating the ChatterBait® JackHammer™ far above other vibrating jigs currently available anywhere.
