CB-15CS | MODE Audio High-Performance Passive Cardioid 2500W Subwoofer w/ 15" + 12" LAVOCE Neodymium Drivers, Baltic Birch Plywood, Black

The MODE Audio CB Series CB-15CS is a high-performance passive cardioid subwoofer engineered to deliver exceptional and controlled low-frequency output. It features premium LAVOCE neodymium drivers, with a 15" front-facing woofer and a 12" rear-facing woofer, both with 4" voice coils, delivering 1250W RMS / 2500W program power (Front: 750W, Rear: 500W RMS, each at 8Ω) for precise, controlled low-frequency output. The CB-15CS incorporates a specialized cardioid design that redirects low-frequency energy forward while minimizing rear-stage radiation. Its two-way bi-amp configuration independently drives the front and rear drivers, enabling precise cardioid cancellation for controlled rear output and a cleaner stage environment without sacrificing low-frequency impact — ideal for live events and stage monitoring. Crafted from premium Baltic birch plywood with a durable polyurea finish and perforated steel grille, the space-efficient enclosure reduces unwanted vibrations and distortion even at high volume levels. Recessed handles are built in for convenient transport and handling, and flexible mounting options are available via four M8 flying points for suspension installation, while the M20-threaded socket supports pole-mounting a satellite speaker. The integrated cabinet design also allows stacking with additional CB-15CS units for scalable low-frequency reinforcement, offering maximum flexibility across venues. For full system optimization, the CB-15CS integrates seamlessly with MODE Audio NTA Series amplifiers (sold separately), enabling phase-aligned cardioid subwoofer arrays with consistent output and impressive low-frequency performance for any professional audio setup. FEATURES HIGH-PERFORMANCE PASSIVE SUBWOOFER: Features a 15" front-facing neodymium woofer and a 12" rear-facing neodymium woofer delivering 1250W RMS / 2500W program power (Front: 750W RMS, Rear: 500W RMS, each at 8Ω) for deep, powerful low-frequency performance. CARDIOID LOW-FREQUENCY DISPERSION: Specialized cardioid design directs low-frequency energy forward while reducing rear radiation. The two-way bi-amp configuration independently drives the front and rear drivers, enabling precise cardioid cancellation for a cleaner rear stage without sacrificing low-frequency impact.
