Cave Vessel: Bone Marrow

In his recent work, Vince Palacios reexamines the role of humor as a central force in his artistic practice. While it has long been a subtle presence in his ceramics, it now moves boldly into the foreground. Animated forms and textured surfaces suggest sculptures caught mid-motion—figures that might walk away when the viewer isn’t looking. Palacios continues to embrace the absurdity of color and material, using their interplay to deepen the communicative power of his work. Underlying this energy are his enduring themes: geological transformation, the passage of time, and the elemental presence of the earth.
