Cattleya Marilyn Lew

Cattleya Marilyn Lew (C. Arcadio Arosemena x C. dowiana) is an exceptional hybrid orchid that combines the distinguished characteristics of both parent species.  Light: Provide bright, indirect light with some morning sun. East or west-facing windows with filtered light work well. Avoid harsh midday sunlight. Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F) during the day with a slight nighttime drop of 3-5°C (5-10°F) to encourage blooming. Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity levels of 50-70%. Use humidity trays, room humidifiers, or group with other orchids to maintain adequate moisture. Watering: Keep consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water when the growing medium begins to dry slightly. Use lukewarm, filtered water and ensure excellent drainage. Additional Notes: The hybrid combines characteristics of both parent species, potentially producing unique and captivating blooms with distinctive qualities in color, size, and fragrance that make this cultivar particularly valuable to collectors.
