Here are some tips for cultivating Cattleya intermedia: Light: Cattleya intermedia prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid placing the plant in direct sunlight, as this can burn its leaves and flowers. Watering: Water the plant thoroughly when the potting mix is almost dry to the touch. Be sure not to overwater, as this can cause the roots to rot. Allow the potting mix to dry out slightly before watering again. Fertilization: Feed Cattleya intermedia every two weeks during the growing season with a balanced orchid fertilizer. Reduce feeding frequency during the winter months. Potting mix: Cattleya intermedia prefers a well-draining potting mix that allows air to circulate around its roots. A mix of bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss is a good choice. Temperature and humidity: Cattleya intermedia prefers temperatures between 60-85°F (16-29°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. It also thrives in high humidity, around 50-70%.
