Cattle Guard

When a person visits a Rancher's homestead they will inevitably cross a cattle guard.  Cattle guards are designed to keep the heard within the confines of the property and allow for vehicles to travel in and out without stopping to open and close a gate.  The first cattle guards hit the plains of the United States around 1905 and prooved to be a time saver for the busy rancher.  Cattle guards are very common in Wyoming and widely used - we see them a lot.  So, to honor the invention and use of cattle guards in Wyoming; as well as the important role they provide we named a 3 bean medium roast after them. Cattle Guard is a great medium roast that has a flavor profile of chocolate, dried fruit, nuttiness, some sugar cane sweetness and hints of citrus.  This is one smooth coffee that provides deep rich flavors.  Welcome to the Frontier Collection Cattle Guard!!
