Catnip Tincture

Catnip isn’t just for cats—this gentle herb has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine for humans, offering calming, fever-reducing, digestive, and wellness benefits. Our Catnip Tincture is made from organic Nepeta cataria extracted in alcohol. Cats vs. Humans – What’s the Difference? While catnip often excites and energizes cats (due to a compound called nepetalactone), it has the opposite effect in humans—acting as a mild sedative. For people, catnip is more closely related to the calming effects of herbal teas like chamomile or lemon balm.                                                                 Key benefits: Promotes relaxation – Helps ease mild anxiety, stress, and nervous tension. Supports restful sleep – Naturally calming, it is great for mild insomnia. Aids digestion – Traditionally used to relieve occasional gas, bloating, and upset stomach. Gentle wellness support – Contains antioxidants and mild soothing compounds.                                                                 Tips: If you are sensitive to alcohol, put your dose in a shot glass of hot water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
