"Cathi" Female Catheterization Trainer

Cathi, a groundbreaking female catheterization trainer from Remedy Simulation Group, is engineered to enhance both the learning journey of nursing students and the teaching process for instructors. This trainer is meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly with our specialized catheterization stand, as well as being fully compatible with older style Laerdal Manikins, offering exceptional versatility across training platforms. Crafted from high-grade, soft silicone rubber, Cathi provides an ultra-realistic training experience. The labia minora is designed with remarkable detail, realistically covering the vaginal and urethral openings. This feature allows students to practice the critical skill of gently spreading the labia using just the thumb and index finger, a technique essential for accurately locating the urethral meatus and correctly placing a urinary catheter. The benefits of Cathi extend beyond its realistic physical attributes. It features a proprietary bladder system that can be connected to either an IV bag or a pressure infuser bag. This innovative system is designed to simulate real-life scenarios, offering immediate feedback through urine flashback upon successful catheterization. This feature is crucial for students to gain confidence in their catheterization skills, ensuring they are prepared for real-world clinical practices. For instructors, Cathi is a valuable teaching resource that enhances the educational impact of catheterization training. Its compatibility with our catheterization stand not only makes setup quick and effortless but also ensures the trainer is securely positioned for optimal learning experiences. The combination of Cathi and the Cath Stand creates a comprehensive training environment that mirrors actual clinical conditions, enabling instructors to effectively teach and assess student competency in female catheterization. Cathi offers a sophisticated, realistic training solution for nursing education, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Its detailed design, combined with the innovative bladder system and compatibility with essential training aids, makes it an indispensable tool for both students and educators aiming for excellence in nursing care.
