Cathedral Bells "Parallel Dreams" LP

Parallel Dreams is a release from Cathedral Bells, blending shimmering synths, reverb-heavy guitars, and nostalgic ’80s-inspired textures Features hazy, melodic songwriting with layered vocals and a soft-focus, atmospheric production style Parallel Dreams serves as the latest offering from shoegazers Cathedral Bells, marking a significant milestone as their debut release for Artoffact Records. The release is the culmination of nearly two years of meticulous development, born from a prolonged period of sonic experimentation and quiet reflection. By leaning into slowcore influences and weaving in previously unexplored textures, the record captures the delicate process of nurturing fragmented ideas and gradually distilling them into a cohesive, polished reality. For frontman Matt Messore, these tracks became more than just music; they acted as a tether during seasons of profound uncertainty. The evolution of the album was a patient one, allowing the songwriting to mature naturally until it transformed into a body of work that feels both intentional and grounded. This new chapter with Artoffact Records highlights a shift toward a more expansive sound, resulting in an album that remains fiercely honest while embracing a bold, refined aesthetic.
