Caterpillar diagnostics cable

Jaltest JDC533A - Caterpillar Diagnostics Cable The Jaltest JDC533A is a genuine Cojali 14-pin diagnostic cable for newer Caterpillar heavy equipment and engines. Caterpillar is the largest heavy equipment manufacturer in the world, with machines in construction, mining, agriculture, power generation, and marine applications. For shops running Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway) software, the JDC533A is a critical cable — it is the connection point between the Jaltest Link and CAT equipment using a 14-pin diagnostic port. Caterpillar is specifically named in Cojali's marketing as a flagship brand supported by Jaltest OHW, and the JDC533A is included in the recommended Jaltest OHW USA Cable Kit (70002031). What This Cable Does The JDC533A provides a 14-pin connection from the Jaltest Link to the diagnostic port on newer Caterpillar heavy equipment. Once connected, the Jaltest OHW software unlocks full multi-system diagnostic access — engine, transmission, hydraulics, aftertreatment, and more — at dealer-level depth. Compatible brand: Caterpillar heavy equipment and engines (newer models with 14-pin diagnostic port) Typical applications: CAT excavators, bulldozers, motor graders, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, articulated trucks, skid steers, and CAT industrial/power generation engines Connector type: 14-pin Caterpillar diagnostic connector Compatible Jaltest modules: Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway/Construction Equipment) — also compatible with Jaltest AGV for CAT agricultural applications Works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 Cable length: 11 inches Genuine Cojali product: Included in the recommended Jaltest OHW USA Cable Kit (70002031) and AGV USA Cable Kit (70002013) Compatible with Jaltest OHW software Listed in Jaltest 2025 Pricelist: Part number JDC533A, MSRP 30.00 Why This Cable Costs 30 At 30, the JDC533A is one of the more expensive individual cables in the Jaltest lineup. This reflects the complexity of the Caterpillar diagnostic interface and the depth of access Jaltest provides on CAT equipment. Caterpillar uses proprietary communication protocols that require specific hardware — this is not a simple passive adapter. The cable enables the kind of dealer-level diagnostic work that would otherwise require CAT ET (Electronic Technician) software and dedicated CAT hardware. For shops that regularly service CAT equipment, the 30 cable cost is quickly justified against the cost of sending machines to a CAT dealer or investing in a full CAT ET setup. One injector coding job, one DPF regeneration, or one parameter change on a CAT engine pays for this cable many times over. Diagnostic Capabilities With Jaltest OHW The Jaltest OHW platform delivers dealer-level Caterpillar diagnostics: Fault code reading and clearing across all CAT ECUs — engine, transmission, hydraulic, aftertreatment, body Live parameter monitoring across all connected systems DPF regeneration and aftertreatment resets on emissions-equipped CAT equipment Cylinder cut-out tests for engine diagnostics Injector coding and fuel system calibrations Transmission calibration and parameter settings Hydraulic system diagnostics and calibrations System checks and functional tests Technical Details SKU / Part Number: JDC533A Connector type: 14-pin Caterpillar Cable length: 11 inches Manufacturer: Cojali (Jaltest) Compatible Software: Jaltest OHW, Jaltest AGV (active license required) Compatible Link Versions: V8.1 / V9 Included in: Jaltest OHW USA Cable Kit (70002031), Jaltest AGV USA Cable Kit (70002013) Price (2025 Pricelist): 30.00 Why Buy From OEM Diagnostic Tools?
