Catena Pouf Square - S500

The Ferm Living Catena Pouf Square S500 completes your modular seating system with versatile functionality that adapts to whatever you need most, available as a made-to-order piece so you can choose from their complete upholstery collection including Hot M. Brown, rich velvet textures, soft bouclé options, and premium linen blends that coordinate perfectly with your other Catena modules. This square pouf captures the same flowing, catenary-inspired design philosophy as the rest of the collection - those gentle U-shapes that hanging chains naturally form - but packages it into a compact, multipurpose format that works as extra seating, a footrest, or even an impromptu coffee table when you need surface space. Whether you're adding flexibility to an existing sectional or creating a complete modular arrangement, this pouf brings that signature "low living" comfort while solving those everyday problems like "where do I put my feet up" or "we need one more seat for guests." At 95cm square and 42cm high, the S500 provides substantial surface area while maintaining proportions that work in most living spaces without feeling oversized. The microcellular foam construction ensures it's comfortable enough for extended sitting but firm enough to support someone's weight without sagging or losing its shape over time. The lower height makes it perfect as a footrest for the other Catena modules, while the flat top surface can handle books, drinks, or laptops when you need temporary table space. The square shape means you can slide it under coffee tables when not in use, push multiple poufs together for larger seating areas, or use it standalone wherever extra seating pops up as a need. The same quality construction and fabric options as the larger modules mean it integrates seamlessly rather than looking like an afterthought. Ferm Living has spent years understanding that the best modular furniture systems include those smaller pieces that handle the in-between moments - the times when you need just a little more seating, somewhere to rest your feet, or a surface for the stuff that accumulates during daily life. Working from Copenhagen but collaborating with Italian manufacturers who understand quality construction, they've built each Catena piece around the reality that modern homes need flexible solutions for changing needs throughout the day. Since 2006, they've focused on that distinctly Scandinavian approach where every piece serves multiple purposes while maintaining the aesthetic cohesion that makes a space feel intentional rather than random. The S500 pouf embodies this philosophy perfectly - substantial enough to be genuinely useful, beautiful enough to enhance your decor, and flexible enough to adapt as your needs change.
