Catch Can Kit, BMW E46 3-Series, Fluid Lock

An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from aggressive driving. Excess oil saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance. Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. More information about Radium catch cans can be found HERE. 20-0073-FL CATCH CAN KIT, BMW E46 M3, FLUID LOCK Click here to download installation instructions (PDF) COMPATIBILITY 00-06 BMW E46 M3 (LHD only) 03-04 BMW E46 M3 CSL (LHD only) OVERVIEW The catch can mounts in the RH compartment of the engine bay near the firewall. Thus, it is not compatible with RHD models. It is compatible with early models where the ABS module is mounted in this compartment. It is also compatible with later models that have a secondary PCV system. Radium Engineering's closed loop system does NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), thus is emissions and track legal. Instead, clean filtered air routes back in through the engine to be burned and to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, a closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors entering into the cabin.  FEATURES -Effectively raises fuel octane and increases performance with cleaner intake air -Prevents oil buildup in the throttle body, intake, manifold, etc. -Excessive oil collection can be an indicator of a damaged engine -Stainless steel filtration media is cleanable and reuseable -Lowers hydrocarbon emissions -Capacity: 7 fluid ounces -Height (without fittings): 5 inches -Outside Diameter: 2.45 inches  INCLUDES -Billet aluminum oil catch can with integrated dipstick -Laser cut anodized E46 specific mounting bracket -Anodized aluminum 10AN hose ends and adapter fittings -Enough 10AN (5/8") PCV hose to work with modified vehicles -Stainless steel mounting hardware and hose clamps 20-0873-FL CATCH CAN KIT, BMW E46 3-SERIES, FLUID LOCK Click here to download installation instructions (PDF) COMPATIBILITY 98-06 BMW E46 320i (LHD only) 98-00 BMW E46 323i (LHD only) 01-06 BMW E46 325i (LHD only) 98-00 BMW E46 328i (LHD only) 00-06 BMW E46 330i (LHD only) 03-06 BMW E46 330i ZHP (LHD only) OVERVIEW The catch can mounts in the RH compartment of the engine bay near the firewall.
