Catch Can Kits, S2000 (00-05 LHD)

Click here to download installation instructions (PDF) These kits are specifically designed for the 00-05 Honda S2000, LHD (left hand drive) chassis. It is NOT compatible with any RHD (right hand drive) or 06-09 LHD S2000 models. No worries, we have a separate catch can kit specifically for these S2000 models HERE.  An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance. Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. See the More Details tab for information on Radium Oil Catch Cans.   S2000 CATCH CAN KITS Radium Engineering offers two completely independent S2000 oil catch can kits that are sold individually or together. They do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), thus are emissions and track legal. Closed loop systems route clean filtered air back in through the engine to be burned and to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering into the cabin. If only one kit is purchased, the 20-0093 PCV side kit is recommended. For the ultimate protection, especially when using forced induction, the dual catch can kit 20-0096 is recommended.The 20-0093 PCV Catch Can Kit (shown below) runs inline with the 3/8" PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve. Oil and sludge can enter the intake manifold through this line during normal driving. A catch can is a great way to reduce the amount of pollutants collecting in the intake manifold and degrading engine performance.  Note: Because the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are great for boosted applications as well, so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted. PCV Kit Includes -Radium billet oil catch can with integrated condenser and dipstick -Radium S2000 specific anodized mounting bracket -Anodized aluminum 6AN hose ends  -Anodized -6AN adapter fittings   -Stainless steel mounting hardware -OEM spring hose clamps  -3/8" PCV rubber hose   The 20-0092 CCV Catch Can Kit (shown below) runs inline with the 1/2" valve cover breather port and air intake pipe. At low loads it experiences atmospheric pressure, but when the engine is at high load (WOT), this hose will experience vacuum and would normally be drawing unwanted crankcase vapors, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the air filter intake pipe. If the engine is turbocharged or supercharged a catch can will help keep oil out of the charge piping. This kit is compatible with all strut tower braces. Crankcase Kit Includes -Radium billet oil catch can with integrated condenser and dipstick -Radium laser cut anodized S2000 specific mounting bracket -Anodized aluminum -8AN hose ends and adapter fittings -Enough 1/2" PCV rubber hose to mate to custom applications  -Vacuum and heater hose to eliminate OEM metal hard tube loom  -Stainless steel mounting hardware  20-0096 The dual catch can kit includes both 20-0092 and 20-0093
