Catch a Wave Mangave

Catch a Wave Mangave (Mangave 'Catch a Wave') is a compact succulent hybrid that crosses the bold foliage of agave with the adaptability of manfreda. The leaves display characteristic mottled markings and an undulating, wave-like edge that gives this cultivar its name. It forms a low, rosette-shaped mound well suited to containers, rock gardens, or dry borders. Like most mangaves, it tolerates heat and drought once established and requires excellent drainage to perform well. Grow it in full sun to light shade in a well-drained mix, and bring containers indoors in climates with hard freezes. Minimal watering through winter keeps the roots healthy.
