Cascade Fixation Yarn DK

This stretchy yarn from Cascade Yarn is fun to knit and works wonderfully for stretchy garments where elasticity is required. Fixation yarn is a light DK/sock weight made from cotton and spandex. These make it an excellent choice for folks who have allergies to wool or find it to be scratchy. These colorful 50 gram balls of yarn are also popular for doing chemo hats for friends with cancer or donating to cancer hospice organizations around the country. Make sure to maintain a normal and relaxed tension while working with Fixation. If the yarn is too tight, you will not have the correct elasticity in your finished project. From their humble Pioneer Square beginnings in Seattle, Washington, they have moved and expanded, but have never lost their commitment to affordable, high-quality yarns. In a time when most high-quality yarn was being crafted in Europe, Cascade instead looked to Peru. Cascade has always believed that so long as the materials and spinning equipment were high quality, and the workers well trained and happy, good yarn can come from anywhere. A family-owned business since the beginning, Cascade is now run by Bob Dunbadin's son Rob and daughter-in-law Shannon. They continue Cascade's mission to offer exceptional quality yarn for an exceptional price.
