Carter's Courage Book

1 Purchased = 1 Book Donated Facing surgery can be scary and Carter gets it; he's had 11! Follow Carter on his twelfth surgery journey as he reminds you: being brave doesn't mean not being scared- it means doing it anyway.  This book is great for any child who is having to face surgery for the first or one hundred and first time, understanding what a friend may be facing, or seeing what surgery is like through the eyes of a child.  Carter walks you through his entire surgical journey, and throughout the book you'll find kid-approved medical definitions with his "bandage badge".  We hope that this book will help teach others what surgery is like for kids, prepare for their own (or friends) surgeries, and how to navigate all the feelings that come with a trip to the hospital.  Educator bundle includes worksheets, slides, resources & hardcover book
