Carr Super Bee Head, Black

Get your Carr Super Bee Amp from Humbucker Music, the largest dealer for the past several years with many Carr Amps for sale and in stock at all times! To say we're excited about this new Carr Super Bee would certainly be an understatement!  Steve Carr has become quite proficient at bringing all of us fresh designs that the amp world has never seen.  And they're not just original...  They actually sound GREAT! While the Super Bee was inspired by Black Face Super Reverb tones, the quest to find that at "real world" volumes led Carr to current production 6BM8 power tubes.  Never never heard of 6BM8 tubes in a guitar amp?  No worries!  Neither had we until now. 6BM8 tubes are essentially a 12AT7 triode and a low wattage plate dissipation pentode in one package. The output is dynamic while retaining transparency. As you may know, with lower wattage amps this can be difficult to achieve. The Super Bee's EZ81 tube rectifier yields lively bounce while enhancing the amplifiers emotional buzz. Suitable for home or afield.
