Carlton Daffodil

Sunny Yellow Blooms That Come Back Bigger Every Spring Carlton is the classic golden daffodil: broad, soft-yellow petals framing a wide ruffled cup, carried on sturdy 18-inch stems that shrug off spring wind and rain. Each flower carries a light vanilla fragrance that drifts across the garden on warm mid-spring days. Plant these garden-size 12/14 cm bulbs in fall and they do the rest. Carlton naturalizes freely in beds, borders, and along woodland edges, multiplying into larger clumps year after year, and it performs just as well in patio containers or forced in pots for early indoor color. Deer and rabbits leave it alone, which makes it a reliable choice where tulips get eaten.
