FAQs & Notes Best for 4K Projection: Minimal surface texture ensures razor-sharp resolution for HD and 4K projectors. Front Projection Only: All Carl’s screens are built for front-facing projection setups. Remnants: Imperfect stock is sold at a discount but cannot be customized or returned. Only choose this route if you’re okay with visible flaws. Care Tips Durability: This is Carl’s longest-lasting screen. Still, signs of wear will appear over time depending on usage intensity. Recommended Distance: Stand at least 10–12 feet from the screen for safety and longevity. Minimizing Bounce: Hang with slight sag and ensure at least 12–16 inches clearance behind the screen to reduce ball return speed. Managing Wrinkles: If shipped folded, wrinkles will ease naturally. Use a steamer with distilled water if needed—do not iron. Storage: Always store clean, dry, and loosely folded to maintain longevity. Installation Guidance Correct Side: The Premium screen has straight thread lines on the front and a tight weave squiggle on the back. Mount with the Carl’s Place logo in the bottom left, facing the golfer. Use Ball Bungees: Tension-balanced hanging using bungees is recommended. Avoid rigid fasteners or over-tightening to maintain safety. Framework Sizing: Follow the 2" guideline—screen width should be no more than 2" different from the frame width for best tension and performance. Clearance Behind Screen: Maintain a 12–16 inch gap between the screen and any rear surfaces or support poles.
