The Carlos Muscadine Grape is one of the South’s most trusted and productive bronze muscadine varieties, celebrated for its large bronze-green fruit, naturally sweet yet slightly tart flavor, and outstanding disease resistance—including strong tolerance to Pierce’s disease and common fungal pressures. Whether you’re growing for fresh eating, juicing, jelly, or muscadine wine, Carlos delivers consistent, top-tier harvests season after season. A vigorous, trailing vine with deep roots in Southern vineyards, Carlos produces clusters of firm, thick-skinned grapes that hold beautifully on the vine and ship remarkably well—making it a favorite for both home growers and commercial producers. Its robust growth habit thrives in warm, humid climates, and its adaptability allows it to excel in home vineyards, backyard trellises, edible landscapes, and high-production orchards. As the seasons turn, Carlos vines bring ornamental charm with dense green foliage that shifts to golden hues in fall, enhancing the landscape as much as the pantry. For growers seeking a reliable, disease-resistant, high-yield bronze muscadine grape, the Carlos Muscadine is a standout variety rooted in Southern tradition and proven performance.
