Carli Skid Plate Drop Bracket: Ram 2500 2014-2024 6.4L 392

Carli Skid Plate Drop Bracket 2014–2024 Ram 2500 6.4L 392 Part #: CS-DPWSKIDBLK-14 Overview The Carli Skid Plate Drop Bracket is a precision-engineered solution designed specifically for the 2014–2024 Ram 2500 equipped with the 6.4L 392 engine. This bracket addresses a common issue encountered when upgrading to Carli’s Radius-Arm suspension lift systems on Power Wagons. By replacing the rear springs and shocks with longer travel components, the suspension gains additional droop travel. However, the factory underbelly skid plate can interfere with this increased suspension movement, causing the rear driveshaft to contact the skid plate. Carli’s Skid Plate Drop Bracket effectively lowers the mounting point of the factory skid plate, creating the necessary clearance to prevent driveshaft contact during full suspension droop. This ensures smooth articulation and protects critical drivetrain components, making it an essential upgrade for enthusiasts seeking improved off-road capability without compromising factory protection. Key Features Designed to complement Carli’s Radius-Arm lift systems, this drop bracket offers a reliable and durable solution to suspension clearance issues. Key features include: Precision fitment for 2014–2024 Ram 2500 with 6.4L 392 engine Engineered to lower the factory underbelly skid plate for increased driveshaft clearance Maintains factory bump stop location while accommodating extended suspension droop Constructed from high-strength materials for durability and long-lasting performance Simple bolt-on installation with no welding or permanent modifications required Protects drivetrain components by preventing driveshaft-to-skid plate contact Designed to work seamlessly with Carli’s rear spring and shock lift components Preserves factory skid plate functionality and underbody protection Construction & Design The Carli Skid Plate Drop Bracket is crafted from robust, high-grade steel to withstand the rigors of off-road use and heavy-duty suspension articulation. Its design ensures structural integrity while providing the necessary clearance for the driveshaft during extended suspension droop. The bracket’s finish is corrosion-resistant, ensuring longevity even in harsh environments. Engineered with precision CNC machining and quality welding techniques, this bracket offers a perfect fit and reliable performance that meets Carli’s stringent standards. Installation & Fitment Installation of the Carli Skid Plate Drop Bracket is straightforward and designed to be completed with basic hand tools. It bolts directly to the factory mounting points, requiring no cutting or welding. This makes it an ideal upgrade for those who have installed or plan to install Carli’s Radius-Arm lift system on their Ram 2500. The bracket ensures proper clearance between the rear driveshaft and the factory skid plate, eliminating interference and potential damage during suspension droop. This product is specifically engineered for the Ram 2500 model years 2014 through 2024 equipped with the 6.4L 392 engine, ensuring a precise fit and optimal performance.
