Does "getting up and out the door" seem to be a daily struggle? It's 9am and your mind is "so full" with worry and racing thoughts that you can't remember where you put your car keys and you are late for work, again. Your loved one asks you why you snap at them and you wish you had an answer. Maybe memories from a painful loss or traumatic experience still haunt you, even in your sleep. Since you can't sleep maybe you drink a bit more or scroll your phone all night. You stopped going out or socializing because you feel alone even around loved ones. You just want to feel "like yourself" again but forgot what that even means. As an experienced therapist and combat veteran (US Army), I get it. It's why I use practical, evidenced based & effective approaches (such as EMDR) to help you get out of your head and shift back into your life. I specialize in trauma & addiction recovery and I'll partner with you to help you recreate that life of meaning, purpose and connection you seek. If you are a first responder, combat veteran, or ANYONE who struggles with trauma, loss, anxiety, ADHD, chronic relapse and you want a therapist who "gets you" and who is skilled and knowledgeable about practical and proven approaches that work or you just want help to feel better and back to living your life again, call me for a free consultation. psychologytoday link Website link
